About this tour

Nusa Penida is the most photogenic island off Bali’s south-east coast, and our day trip is designed so you see the best of it without the bottlenecks that make day tours exhausting: no big-bus queues at Kelingking, no stuffy catamaran crossings, no rushed schedule.

Why guests pick this tour

It’s the single highest-value day from Bali. In 10 hours you’ll snorkel with manta rays, photograph Kelingking’s T-Rex cliff, wade Angel’s Billabong, and still be back at your hotel in time for dinner. The small-group format means the pace fits you — a longer swim with the mantas if conditions are perfect, or an extra coffee stop if the group needs a breather.

What the day actually looks like

Pre-dawn pickup (yes, it’s early). 45-minute drive to Sanur. 1-hour fast-boat crossing. Then four viewpoints and a snorkel stop, with a proper Bali lunch in the middle. Your guide adjusts the running order based on tide and crowd flow — some days we’ll snorkel first, others we’ll chase the best light at Kelingking. The overall shape is always the same; the sequence flexes.

Small print worth knowing

Manta sightings are reliable but not guaranteed. The local operators we work with cancel snorkel stops if the current is unsafe — we’ll swap in an extra viewpoint instead.
Fast-boat crossings can feel bumpy. If you’re prone to motion sickness, tell us and we’ll bring ginger tablets.
Kelingking’s steep descent to the beach isn’t part of this tour. Too many injuries reported from that path. You’ll get the same iconic photo from the safer upper viewpoints.
Not suitable for guests with back problems, heart conditions, or advanced pregnancy due to the boat crossing.
