1. About these terms
These terms apply when you book a tour, enquire, subscribe to our newsletter, or otherwise use anggashiddenbali.com. By booking, you accept these terms on behalf of every guest in your party.
2. Booking and payment
Tours are bookable directly via our site (card payment via Stripe) or via third-party platforms (Viator, Klook, Tripadvisor, GetYourGuide). Platform bookings are also subject to that platform's terms.
Prices on the site are quoted in USD and converted to IDR at payment-time rates. Final charge is the IDR amount. Your card issuer's FX rate determines your statement amount; we don't control this.
3. Cancellation and refunds
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour start time. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable, with one exception: if we cancel due to safety (weather, ocean conditions, mechanical issue, guide illness), we refund in full or reschedule at no cost.
Refunds for direct bookings are processed back to your original card within 3 business days. Platform bookings follow that platform's refund timeline.
4. Rescheduling
You can reschedule a booked tour at no charge once, up to 24 hours before departure, subject to availability. Later reschedules are considered on a case-by-case basis — message us as early as you can.
5. Your responsibilities
- Be ready at the pickup time we've agreed. We wait 15 minutes; after that, the tour may be considered started.
- Provide accurate medical, dietary, and accessibility information when you book.
- Follow guide and boat-crew safety instructions at all times.
- Respect local dress codes and religious sites. Sarongs and sashes are provided where required.
- Keep the pace of a group tour reasonable. A single guest can't hold up an 8-person group indefinitely.
6. Health and safety
Tours may involve walking, short hikes, boat crossings, snorkeling, or volcano viewing. Tell us in advance if you have heart conditions, mobility limits, pregnancy, or a recent surgery. We will suggest alternatives where any activity would be unsafe for you.
We carry basic first aid. For anything beyond, we evacuate to the nearest international clinic (BIMC, SOS Medika). Medical costs are your responsibility — travel insurance is strongly recommended.
7. Photography on tour
Our guides occasionally take group photos or short clips and may share them on social media for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed or featured, tell your guide on the day — we'll respect the request for your whole group.
8. Weather and force majeure
We run year-round. If a specific activity is unsafe (rough seas, volcanic advisory, heavy flooding), we swap in an alternative stop or reschedule. Fully refunded cancellations apply only when no safe alternative exists.
9. Liability
We commit to delivering tours with reasonable care and to working only with vetted drivers, guides, and boat operators. Our liability is limited to the tour price paid. We are not liable for indirect losses (missed flights, onward-trip impacts) caused by weather, traffic, or force majeure.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud — those cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Conduct
We reserve the right to end a tour without refund if a guest behaves in a way that endangers safety, harasses other guests or staff, or refuses lawful guide instructions. This is rare; we flag it for completeness.
11. Intellectual property
Site content, photos, and copy are either our work, licensed to us, or used with permission. Please don't republish without asking — we'll usually say yes. Credit "Angga's Hidden Bali" with a link back.
12. Governing law
For bookings made via our direct site, these terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Indonesia. For bookings made via third-party platforms, that platform's jurisdiction applies to the booking contract.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be flagged on the site for at least 30 days. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
