Booking & payment
Do I need to pay in advance to book?
Yes — all direct bookings are paid in full at the time of booking, via Stripe. Your card is charged immediately. If we need to cancel, we refund you within 3 business days.
What currency do you charge in?
Prices are displayed in USD. Your card is charged in IDR at the payment-time exchange rate. Your issuer's FX rate determines your statement amount — we don't control that.
What's the difference between booking direct and booking via a partner OTA?
The tour itself is identical — same guide, same vehicle, same route. Direct bookings are roughly 22% cheaper because we don't pay platform commission on them. Platform bookings may come with loyalty credits or third-party dispute cover.
Do you offer group discounts?
Most tours cap at 6–10 guests and already represent the best price for that size. For private full-charter bookings (one family/party taking the whole tour), message us on WhatsApp — we'll quote a custom rate.
Cancellation & changes
Can I cancel and get a refund?
Yes — free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour start time. Within 24 hours, bookings are non-refundable except if we cancel for safety reasons (weather, conditions, mechanical), in which case we refund or reschedule at no cost.
Can I reschedule my tour?
Once, at no charge, up to 24 hours before the tour. Message us as soon as you know — availability gets tight in peak season.
What if my flight is delayed or I miss my pickup?
WhatsApp us immediately — we can usually shift the pickup time by an hour or so, or swap to a later-start tour. The sooner we know, the more options we have.
Pickup & logistics
Where do you pick up from?
Most tours offer free pickup from Ubud, Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta, Legian, Sanur, Nusa Dua, and Jimbaran. Pickups from further-flung villas or hotels are often possible — message us before booking to confirm.
How early should I be ready for pickup?
Be at your hotel lobby 10 minutes before the agreed pickup time. Your driver will message ahead when they're close.
Do you drop back to my hotel after the tour?
Yes, included. For airport drops on tour days, tell us at booking — we can route directly if there's time.
Can I swap the pickup to the airport?
Yes — let us know when you book. We can also combine a tour with airport pickup/drop on arrival or departure day.
On the day
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable clothes; for temple stops, shoulders and knees should be coverable (we provide sarongs and sashes). Closed shoes for hikes and waterfalls. Swimwear + towel for water stops. Sun protection, a cap or hat, and a small cash reserve (IDR 300–500k) for snacks and tips.
Is lunch included?
On most full-day tours, yes — at a small family-run warung selected by your guide. Vegetarian, halal, and gluten-free options available; flag any allergies at booking.
Is there WiFi in the vehicle?
Not reliably. Our drivers can share a hotspot if you're really stuck, but a local SIM or eSIM is the easier option for trip-length data.
Are your tours kid-friendly?
Most are. Mt. Batur jeep sunrise, Ubud waterfall circuit, and Bali photo tour are our most family-friendly. Tell us your kids' ages when you book and we'll flag anything that might not suit.
Are your tours wheelchair accessible?
Some stops are, some aren't — many temples and waterfalls have stairs. Message us before booking so we can design a route around your specific needs.
About us
Who is 'Angga'?
Our Bali-based co-founder runs day-to-day operations from Buleleng. The small guide team works out of Ubud. The site and bookings are managed jointly with our US-based coordination.
How big is the team?
Small. Around 6–8 people on any given week, including guides, drivers, and coordination. Every booking goes through a human; there's no outsourced call centre.
Do you run tours in other languages?
English is the default. Several guides also speak Bahasa Indonesia fluently, and a couple handle basic Mandarin or Japanese. Ask at booking if you need a specific language.
